I bought this to read on an airplane but was so intrigued by the strange formatting I thought meh, whatever.... I’ll read another book on the plane and check this out now since it’s blizzarding and there’s nowhere to go and there was NO way I was falling down the Netflix rabbit hole three times in one week.
I always enjoy experimental books, so this was pretty awesome. But I can see how it might not be for everyone. It was written as a series of threads created through this social network called Bubble. So it’s just talking. No descriptions, no introspection, no filler, just conversations. So as you’re reading, thinking hm, where is this going? And then oh ….murder …cannibalism ...bowling alleys…. I did not see that coming. There’s not much else to say other than this book was weird, unique, and hilarious.
